Wait For Me!

"Wait for Me"

My daughter has chickens of all shapes and sizes on her "Quarter Acre Farm". It's hysterical watching these little chicks follow her around like she is their mama. The mature chickens were not protecting the little chicks from predators, so my daughter became their protector. The little one on the end can't keep up with her big sisters, so she says: "Wait for me!" 10 x 8" oil on canvas board.

Ella

This horse has such a personality. I hope her owner allows me to meet her one day! I didn't realize how much I would enjoy painting horses, and maybe I'll get more opportunities!

Gigi

When I was painting this beautiful horse, I couldn't help but think that the horse is the most graceful animal God has created! Yet the horse also has incredible strength and agility! I loved working on this project. Thank you Errin for the opportunity! Oil on 14 x 11" stretched canvas.

Yellowstone

Have you ever been to Yellowstone National Park? We visited Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons last year. It was an incredible trip that included gorgeous vistas and lots of animal sightings. I was commissioned to create a piece of art that would incorporate bison and the beautiful landscape. I would love to go back to that area. Bison, Elk and Moose, oh my! Just Fabulous!!!

Dark Waters

The clouds for most of the month of July on Colchester Point, Vermont were magnificent. It seems everyday we saw a demonstration of powerful clouds and its' impact on the waters. Makes us feel small, don't you think? 10 x 8" oil on panel board.

The Kayaker

This landscape depicts a spot on beautiful Lake Champlain on Mills Point, Colchester.  It is always a serene spot and these kayaks are stacked nearby for the residents to enjoy this gorgeous spot. 12 x 16" oil on canvas panel.

Ducky's Black Eyed Susans

Every morning Dan and I go for a walk and see these beautiful flowers growing wild on the side of the road. I'm a huge fan of the Queen Anne's Lace as well.  The variety and beauty of flowers speak of God's wisdom and love. 14 x 11". Oil on stretched canvas
