The Old Railroad Tracks

Plein air painting is extremely challenging. There is a need to edit because the natural landscape has so much green in it, that it is easy to have a boring painting.  I liked working on this little study (7 x 5") because it took all the pressure off. With a small piece, you can't overwork it. I'd like to go back and do a larger painting at this location.  My friend Brad loved it and so it's his!
