This 18 x 24" painting was painted with a unique palette of colors. Using only the complementary colors of purple helps to pull the painting together as a whole. This one took a long time but I really love using grays and the complements of colors to unify a painting.

Painter's Tea
This was a fun subject. But it took great self control for my grandson, Landon not to play with "little art man". As a matter of fact, he did get to it one time when I wasn't looking! 11 x 14" Oil
Paintbrushes and a Bird's Nest
It was difficult to get the colors adjusted correctly when photographing this painting. We found the bird's nest in our canoe when doing spring cleaning. Oil 12 x 16"
In the Woods
This was from a photograph one day when I was sick. I am exploring these unusual colors for landscape. 4 x 6: W/C and Gouache.

"Chopsticks"
This was painted at the Town Center at Village Walk. Alyssa posed for a month of Mondays!

"Landon and Poppi on the Bridge"
I really pushed the color in this little plein air painting, well, because I wanted to! When Landon, my greatest supporter saw it, he asked if that was him and his Poppi on the bridge! So I had to name in that. Oil 8x10"

"Roses Are Red"
I really enjoyed painting this scene. It started out as a demonstration in my Oil Painting class. Dan
brought these home to me when I wasn't feeling good one day. Aww...isn't that sweet? 11 x 14" Oil

"Summer Bouquet in Glass"
My website needs work so I'll be adding work on my blog until I get that straightened out. I'm resurrecting some works and finishing them up for our Art Show at Village Walk in Bonita Springs on March 9, 2013. This little still life is painted in oil, 8 x 10.
